  • ST. PAUL'S BABY GANG FALL GET TOGETHERS - All parents, infants, and toddlers are invited to our first Fall Get Together to be held on Sunday, September 20, at 5 pm. In anticipation of glorious fall weather, we are heading down to Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 6. Bring snacks; we'll picnic and explore the various playgrounds of Brooklyn's waterfront. Specifics on this outing, plus other information regarding upcoming events have been sent via email to those parents on our Baby Gang list. If you are a parent who did not receive that special email, please leave a message with the Parish Office and we'll get things fixed! The Baby Gang gathers with a view of supporting parents and kids socially and spiritually.
  • GUILD OF ACOLYTES PRE-SEASON REHEARSAL SEPTEMBER 26  All those who serve at the altar will gather for a day of study and rehearsing prior to our return to Solemn Mass ceremonial at 11:00 on October 4.  The rehearsal will begin in the Church on Saturday, September 26, at 11:00 a.m., will include lunch, and will end at 2:00 p.m.  Are you interested in serving at the altar?  We need children, youth, and adult volunteers.  Ask to speak with Harold Wendglinsky or the Rector.
  • CHOIR DAY-LONG RETREAT SEPTEMBER 26  In anticipation of our return to full choral masses on October 4, the choir gathers for a day of rehearsing the fall’s scheduled anthems, etc.  Are you interested in lending your voice to the Parish Choir?  Ask to speak with Vince Peterson.
  • SUMMER’S LAST JAZZ@MASS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27  Come send out our Summer Season’s Low Mass Sundays with a bang as our own Willie Martinez and his professional jazz musician friends offer their art to the Glory of God in a decidedly sacred context.  (Our fall schedule begins on October 4, with Solemn Mass sung at 11:00 a.m.).
  • ARE YOU UP FOR A HIKE?  If you would like to join fellow parishioners on a crisp fall's day-hike in the nearby Catskills on Saturday, October 3, (rain date: October 10), please ask to speak with either Jennie or Sam Kessler, or contact the parish office.  "The whole earth is filled with His glory!"

PREPARE FOR THE RETURN OF OUR FALL SCHEDULE!

  • ST. FRANCIS BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS!  We are very excited to announce that this year’s Blessing will be held in Carroll Park!  We hope in this way to invite the participation of the wider neighborhood, and to witness to the Church’s value of creation, life, and community.  Also, this year’s observance will include even more area churches:  St. Paul’s and Sacred Hears-St. Stephen’s will be joined by the congregations of St. Mary Star of the Sea, St. Agnes, and St. Paul’s (RCC) on Court and Congress!  To accommodate the Parks Department and the 76th Precinct the Blessing will begin at 2:30 p.m
