A STEWARDSHIP PRAYER

  • Creator God, Life is your gift to us.  Through Baptism, you invite us to share the gifts of our lives in service to others. Be with us as we choose each day to show your presence in our world. Give us the courage and generosity to respond to your love, to your call.  Open our minds and hearts that that we may use our time and talents and treasures for good in the world.  For if not us, who?  If not here, where?  If not now, when?  We pray through Christ our Lord. Amen
  • Although, this coming Sunday marks the official end of Stewardship Month at St. Paul’s, God calls us to be good stewards of his bounty throughout the year.  Please pray about how you can use the gifts that God has given you to help St. Paul’s in the coming year.  If you have not yet turned in your pledge card for 2018, you can place it in the collection plate or send it on to the parish office.

COMING UP AT ST. PAUL'S IN NOVEMBER

  • All Saints’ Day will be celebrated at mass next Sunday, November 5th.
  • All Soul’s Day will be celebrated at mass on Friday, November 3rd.  If you wish to have the names of your departed loved ones read during this service, please print the names on an envelope that is included with your Sunday bulletin, or contact the parish office.  All names will need to be received by Monday, November 30th.

TRANSITION

  • For the past two months, the Wardens and Vestry have been working diligently with Bishop Provenzano and The Canon for Ministry Support to find and call an interim priest to guide us through the next phases of the search for a new Rector.  As soon as the Vestry has an agreement with an Interim, they will notify the parish.  Until then, please address any questions or concerns with the Transition Team (Lilo Carr Rivera and Rufus Hallmark) or members of the Vestry.

ST. PAUL’S AUCTION

29th Annual Auction is Saturday, December 2nd

  • Just in time for Christmas shopping. Although this is months away, for the auction to be a success, it takes careful planning and a lot of work.  Right now, what you can do is mark your calendars and contact the wardens or members of the vestry and tell them you would like to help with the planning and organization work that must take place in the months to come.
  • Quilt Raffle tickets are now available for you to purchase for yourself or to sell to your friends and family.  See Madge Willner at Coffee Hour.
