  • PARENTS AND YOUNG CHILDREN (infants and toddlers) are invited to a playdate in the Nursery this Saturday, March 14 at 3 pm. Enter at St. Andrew’s house through the gate on Carroll Street. Some snacks and beverages will be provided, but feel free to bring something to share. The little ones can play with the toys while parents commiserate and discuss plans for future parents’ group events.   • SUNDAY'S APPOINTED MASS READINGS: Numbers 21:4-9; Psalm 107:1-3, 22; Ephesians 2:1-10; John 3:14-21.  Preaching:  The Rector
  •  LENTEN FOOD DRIVE   Our Sunday School students wish to remind us all that bins for receiving nonperishable foods have been placed in the rear of the church.  On Good Friday, foods collected during Lent will be delivered by the students to the Food Pantry at First Presbyterian, Brooklyn Heights.  Presently, the Pantry is in most need of different types of proteins such as peanut butter, tuna fish, canned meat products like Vienna sausage, canned salmon, etc. 

LENTEN EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY

  • STUDY  After Lenten Masses, ACE invites all to join them in the Library as they continue to participate in series focusing on the place of THE TABERNACLE in the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures and worship. Sunday’s presentation will be by the Brad Winters. 

SPECIAL CONCERTS

  • DANCE OF LIFE  TONIGHT IS THE FINAL PERFORMACE of Roxanna Panufnik’s TALLIN MASS under the direction of Vince Peterson; the production incudes St. Paul’s Choir!  This US premier will be held at New York City’s DiMenna Center.  Certainly, the wider public will be made aware of St. Paul’s, Brooklyn!  Check out www.choralchameleon.com to learn more about DANCE OF LIFE.  Tickets will be available online at that website:  $40.
  • ENSEMBLE COMPANIO  At 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, director Joseph Gregorio presents “Love’s Faces,” a program of choral works by Arcadelt, Passereau, Stainer, Durufle, and Lars-Erik Larsson, along with their newly commission work by Vince Peterson.  Works too, by pop composers such as Randy Newman, The Beatles, and Billy Joel, are on the docket.  $20.  $10 seniors and students.  Visit their website:  www.ensemblecompanio.org
