SUCCSSSFUL SUMMERTIME POP-UP AUCTION THANKS

  • We are thankful to report that our Summertime Pop-Up Auction raised well over $1,150 to help pay for this summer’s work projects undertaken by Teams of parishioners to keep our buildings safe and useful for parish and community service!  Thanks go to all who donated items, to all who bid, and to Madge Willner who got us “on line”!  Remember, the Annual St. Paul’s Auction will be held this year on November 7.

SUMMERTIME OUTREACH

  • FOOD DRIVE:  Throughout the summer months, bins to receive non-perishable food items are placed in the rear of the church.  Items collected will help restock the pantry shelves of First Presbyterian Church, Brooklyn Heights.

SUMMERTIME TEAM UPDATES

  • TEAM KITCHEN:  On the weekend of July 18/19, Team Kitchen built new counter base units in the parish hall kitchen. Soon, the rotting restroom floor to be replaced!
  • TEAM EXTERIOR:  “Off at the gate” but not to be sneezed at is Team Exterior whose task it is to refinish our Church’s exterior doors and to repair and repaint portions of the iron fencing, as well as to help generate funds to cover the cost.  Doug Munson is Team Leader.  Hope is that work will be done on the weekend of August 8 (and if necessary, 9).  If you would like to join Team Exterior, please leave a message with the parish office (via return email), or inform Doug Munson.
  • WHILE WORK IS IN PROGRESS the Hall continues to be used daily for parish and community-service meetings.  The only thing “lagging behind” is donations!  Please encourage your family and friends to help this team meet its goal in order that St. Paul’s may better serve.
  • CHOOSE A TEAM: GET INSPIRED!  Did you choose a team yet?  We are hoping everyone will participate in some way.  There are 4 Teams:  Basement, Kitchen, Rectory, and Exterior.  For more information about each team's project and the many ways you can help, check out www.gofundme.com/stpauls
