COMING UP AT ST. PAUL'S
Third Friday Supper for Charity: January 20th! Kick off 2017 with the first of our Third Friday Suppers for Charity. All proceeds support parish outreach. Enjoy great food cooked up by great parish cooks, enjoy the convivial gathering, and enjoy not having to shop, cook, and clean up at home! This is a convenient “drop in affair”, so you may come to eat between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. $15 for adults, $5 for children, max per family: $30. Bring friends. Bring people you don’t know. In the love of the Lord you can even bring enemies.
Parish Annual Meeting: January 22, 2017: The stated purpose of an Annual Meeting in The Episcopal Church is the election of Wardens and Vestry Memebers. Opportunity is also used to share with the congregation the parish finances and budget for the upcoming year, and to hear reports from various parish organizations. The Meeting begins with the 11:00 a.m. Mass, and proceeds to balloting, fellowship, and a formal meeting for reporting. For more information regarding the election process, please ask to speak with the Rector, or with Nick Mancino.
Pledge Envelopes: Our 2017 pledge envelopes have not arrived yet, so if you pledge, please put your check or cash in a plain envelope with your name, pledge number (if you know it), and the date on the envelope. Ushers will have a supply of plain envelopes, if you need one, until our regular pledge envelopes arrive. Thank you for your help and understanding.
