COMING UP AT ST. PAUL'S
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 10
The Ash Wednesday Liturgy will be celebrated at 7:30 a.m., Noon, and 7:30 p.m. The evening mass will include hymns, and our Guest Preacher will be the Rev. Angela Askew. The Prayer Book designates Ash Wednesday as a “strict fast”, which now generally means one main meatless meal, and two smaller meals, all without sweets. Solid foods should not be eaten between meals. Children, Pregnant and nurseing mothers, Seniors, and those on medications or living with diatary restrictions are not bound to fast. Pre-Lent confessions may be made by appointment with a priest.
