  • Liturgies will be celebrated here at 7:30 a.m., Noon, and 7:30 p.m.  All are encouraged to begin Lent at the Lord’s Table, be it here at St. Paul’s, or in a church nearby one’s workplace, school, or home.
  • The Prayer Book designates Ash Wednesday as a “strict fast”, which now generally means one main meatless meal, and two smaller meals, all without sweets.  Solid foods should not be eaten between meals.  Children, pregnant and nurseing mothers, seniors, and those on medications or living with medical diatary restrictions are not bound to fast.
  • Pre-Lent confessions may be made by appointment with a priest.

  • Lenten Food Drive - The Sunday School students will be coordinating St. Paul's annual Lenten Food Drive.  All food collected will be donated to the food pantry of First Presbyterian Church in Brooklyn Heights.  Bins, decorated by our Sunday School students, will be placed in the back of the church to collect donations starting Sunday, February 7.  We encourage you to bring the following donations:  Tuna, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Juice Boxes, Canned Vegetables, Canned Soup, and Rice.  Thank you for any and all donations!!!
  • Our next Third Friday Supper—February 19! Are you and your friends longing for a satisfying, home-cooked supper at the end of a long week?  Don’t you cook!  Come on down to St. Paul’s parish hall and be part of our new tradition of Friday night suppers.  Good food served up every 3rd Friday on a drop-in basis from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.   February’s menu fit for Lent:  “A Friday Fish-fry with Pierogi”.      $15 per adult / $5 per child.
  • Special Lenten Services - This year marks the 150th anniversary of our neighbor congregation of of Sacred Hearts and St. Stephen located at the corner of Summit and Hicks Streets.   As part of that celebration their congregation will worship here with us at 4:00 Evensong on the Fifth Sunday of Lent, March 13.  Also, they have invited us to join them for Stations of the Cross at St. Stephens.  Details will be announced soon.
