DEAR FRIENDS
Many, many, many thanks to everyone who made our Christmas services a glorious success to the glory of God and in celebration of the Birth of Our Savior! Because of the way Christmas fell this year, there were four services within a 24 hour-period—a more difficult schedule even than Holy Week!—and your Altar Guild, Acolytes Guild, Ushers Guild, Lectors Guild, clergy, music staff and choir all put in untold hours of work to make it all happen. Please take the opportunity to thank those many people involved for their work and commitment. The 11:00 PM Christmas Eve service was down in attendance a bit this year due to the somewhat inclement weather and parishioner travel plans, but the 5:30 service was up considerably, with well over 100 in attendance.
I know that by this time most of you are sick to death of Christmas, but do try to make an effort to remember all 12 days of Christmas, if only to extend the joy, if not the business, of the season for just a bit longer. The work of the Church and the worship of Our Lord does not stop just because modern culture says that Christmas is over.
Your sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Wallace
